“It would be impossible to overstate the importance of the work done by Aussie Helpers for Australian farmers and people in the bush. I congratulate them on the tremendous work they continue to do.” — Alan Jones AO- 2GB
Olympic swimmer, Lisa Curry, nominated Aussie Helpers as her Charity of Choice when she competed on Network Ten’s “I’m a celebrity – get me out of here” reality TV show.
Lisa spent six weeks in a jungle camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa before being voted out by viewers of the show. In the camp, contestants partake in daily challenges to test their survival skills and to win luxuries for the camp.
She saw through those challenges and lasted a massive 41 days in the jungle with little or no comfort.
Aussie Helpers are proud to have Lisa as an ambassador to those doing it tough in farming communities across Australia.
“In Australia we have the most magnificent Australian grown produce, manufactured to the highest of standards. Supporting local industry and farming provides employment, ensures the profits stay in Australia and helps secure a better future for all Australians. We need to support our farmers by not only buying Australian products but through supporting the hard work of Brian and his team at Aussie Helpers. Together we can make a better future for Australia, a reality for all of us.”
