We are grateful for the Australian businesses and organisations who support Aussie Helpers!

Aussie Helpers would like to thank the People of Australia and the Corporate World for supporting and helping us to assist the rural and farming communities of our wonderful country. Without your valuable contributions Aussie Helpers could not continue the work we are doing.

We receive no government assistance at all.

In Ridley’s 2012 Employee Opinion Survey, we asked our employees to indicate their preferences regarding Ridley’s involvement with charities. The relationships with these charities were then subsequently formalised.

Our support for the Garvan Institute will involve an education program on health related issues that will be presented in country towns throughout Australia, commencing in 2013. Our support for Aussie Helpers will involve Ridley supporting Aussie Helpers assist struggling farmers and people in rural communities. The support will be a combination of a cash donation but more importantly volunteering and donations by our staff.

Aussie Helpers: The beneficiaries of Aussie Helpers activities are genuine people who are going through really tough times. The majority of the people Aussie Helpers deal with would not ask for help nor expect it. Originally started by a husband and wife team which has rapidly expanded over the years. The unique attribute of Aussie Helpers is its desire to not only encourage monetary support but the giving of time to help struggling farmers. Aussie Helpers has a direct link to rural communities in which Ridley operates.
