It is well known that a lot of our farmers keep on going because of the community’s generosity and determination to alongside them.
Although the Dubbo Depot is bittersweet, there is a genuine sense of community spirit and fighting back attitude still in Dubbo. Aussie Helpers organised food parcels and other essentials to help maintain farmers during this difficult time which are an ongoing testament to Australians who want to help one another in a times of crisis.
The Dubbo Mayor turned out to our recent Dubbo Depot opening, flanked by many Dubbo locals and our Katie O’Brien Aussie Helpers Co-ordinator.
