Communities
Around 7 million Aussies (or 28% of the population) live in rural or remote areas. Despite the geographic challenges, rural communities have greater sense of community and connectedness than urban communities.
Our sites in Gladstone, Charleville and Dubbo are specifically located so that we can reach and support a wide footprint of rural communities across central and western Queensland and western New South Wales.
As a national organisation, we support ALL Aussie farmers, farming families and farming communities across the country—wherever, whenever and however the need.
Because of their size, location, community spirit and connectedness, rural communities can be hit hard by adversity. Drought, flood, recession, service or industry loss, suicide hit farming communities hard.
