From figures supplied by the VFF there are 4200 registered dairy farmers in Victoria alone. They estimate that just on 50% of them are currently facing financial hardship and ruin due to the current and ongoing Dairy Crisis. The Western Region of Victoria has approx. 70% of the farmers facing hardship right now.
With Christmas approaching us fast that we could produce at least 1000 hampers that could be given out to them to help ease the pain on the day.

OPTIONS
1. Have as many businesses display a box with our flyer on in their reception/tea room asking for non perishable donations these can also contain age appropriate Christmas gifts.
2, Ask businesses to donate by either contributing to the hampers directly through vouchers/cash ( cash must go via www.aussiehelpers.org.au )- Aussie Helpers are a registered charity) Vouchers can go into the hampers, they can be for anything.
3 Ask staff to have a morning cuppa, some yummy cakes and raise a few $ towards the cause. This could also be pledged via the go fund me account Aussie Dairy Farmers Relief Fund.

For those that choose to collect the non perishables email admin@aussiehelpers.org.au to let us know you are collecting, once their box is full we can arrange pick up. This will be done either by us or by Aussie Helpers.
The participants will need to contact Aussie Helpers once they are done. We need to have everything collected no later than mid November if we are to get hampers delivered in time for Christmas.
